The pistol comes with three 10-round magazines, multiple backstraps, and its factory hard case, making it a complete carry-size package that bridges service reliability and everyday practicality.

The M&P40c 1.0 represents Smith & Wesson’s original compact take on the M&P series, identifiable by its MPP5259 serial prefix and pre-M2.0 grip texture. The 3.5-inch stainless barrel is treated with Melonite for corrosion resistance and durability, matching the slide’s black finish and fish-scale serrations fore and aft.
A factory-absent thumb safety and magazine disconnect keep the manual of arms straightforward. Internal striker, sear, and trigger safeties remain in place, supplemented by the pivoted two-piece trigger with integrated safety tab.
Installed Trijicon DI night sights upgrade low-light capability with a green fiber-optic/tritium front and two-dot tritium rear, delivering a clear, fast sight picture around the clock. The sights’ original retail packaging is included.
The compact polymer frame accepts interchangeable palmswell backstraps and features a single-slot accessory rail for lights or lasers. Ambidextrous slide-stop levers support left- or right-hand manipulation without modification.
Three factory 10-round magazines accompany the pistol, each wearing finger-rest floor plates that improve control while maintaining a concealable profile. Combined with the complete factory case and documentation, this M&P40c is range-ready out of the box.
