The TAC Ultra FS platform combines a robust 4140 ordnance steel frame and slide with a 5-inch, button-rifled 10mm barrel and a full-length guide rod. Capacity is 8+1 with the included single-stack magazines.
Controls are set up for confident handling: ambidextrous thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety with memory pad, a skeletonized commander-style hammer, and a skeletonized three-hole trigger with an overtravel screw. A checkered mainspring housing and a flared magazine well support fast, secure reloads. G10 black/gray layered grip panels provide a stable hold.
Sight alignment is straightforward with an orange fiber-optic front sight in a dovetail and an LPA fully adjustable rear sight with two white dots. The slide features front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered/flared ejection port for reliable cycling.
The pistol wears a black parkerized finish on both frame and slide. The full-length dust cover integrates an accessory/Picatinny rail. Markings include "M1911 A1 FS – TACT." on the slide and "CAL. 10MM" on the barrel hood, with Armscor/Philippines import marking under the dust cover and a Pahrump, NV marking.
