Built on Ruger’s aluminum alloy receiver with a black finish, this carbine uses the V-block barrel attachment system and the reliable blowback semi-automatic action. It retains the hallmark 10+1 capacity via the flush-fit rotary magazine and uses a cross-bolt safety. Length of pull is 13.5 inches.
The barrel is an 18.5 inch round blued alloy steel tube with six-groove rifling and a 1:16 right-hand twist. This configuration is known for dependable function with a wide range of .22 LR loads.
Sighting equipment includes a folding leaf rear sight. The front sight has been removed as part of the rifle’s current configuration. The receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope base; no base is installed.
