The heart of this setup is its 8.5 in .300 BLK barrel, threaded at the muzzle and fitted with a three-prong flash hider. The direct-impingement, semi-automatic operating system keeps the package true to the AR-15 platform while delivering the flexibility and performance .300 Blackout is known for.
A free-float aluminum handguard with a continuous top rail enhances rigidity and accessory placement, complemented by a short 1913 section at 6 o'clock. The upper receiver includes a flat-top Picatinny rail, forward assist, brass deflector, and an ejection-port cover.
Controls and ergonomics are upgraded with an ambidextrous extended charging handle, a Magpul MOE pistol grip, and a polymer angled foregrip. An adjustable arm brace with a rear strap provides a secure, configurable interface.
Receivers are 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard-anodized black finish. The pistol uses standard STANAG-pattern AR-15 magazines and includes a 40-round PMAG, providing a 40+1 capacity. Safety is a single-side manual type with a standard magazine release.
Made in the United States, this AM-15 configuration pairs practical component choices with a clean, lightly handled condition. Anderson Manufacturing concluded operations in 2025 after an asset sale, offering added context to the model's place in the market.
