The E-Series treatment defines this model with a flat-top slide, longitudinal top serrations, and distinctive fish-scale serrations front and rear for confident manipulation. The slide also features rear serrations around the sight cut, an external extractor, and a lowered and flared ejection port for reliable cycling.
Built on a stainless steel frame and slide finished in satin stainless with brushed flats, this full-size 1911 uses a 5-inch stainless bushing barrel and single-action operation. Capacity is 8+1 in .45 ACP, and the pistol is manufactured in the USA under part number 108482 (as shown on the case label).
Ergonomics and control features include a checkered front strap and checkered mainspring housing, a beavertail grip safety with memory bump, and a thumb safety. The skeletonized combat hammer and skeletonized three-hole trigger provide a crisp, consistent feel, while the standard magazine release maintains classic 1911 operation.
Sight picture is straightforward and durable with a fixed white-dot front blade and a low-mount Novak-style 2-dot rear, creating a fixed 3-dot setup that is quick to index. Wood E-Series grip panels with a fish-scale/diamond texture and engraved "E" add traction and visual distinction that matches the slide treatment.
Dimensions are dialed for a traditional Government profile: 8.7 inches overall length, 5.6 inches in height, and 1.3 inches in width, with a weight of approximately 39.5–39.8 ounces. This configuration delivers the familiar balance and sight radius expected from a full-size 1911.
