The PX-5.7 uses a lever-delayed blowback operating system with a single-action, internal-hammer design. This setup delivers the light, consistent break of a single-action trigger while managing the 5.7x28mm cartridge efficiently.
Its forged carbon-steel slide receives a Tenifer/QPQ-type treatment for durability, and the 4.8 inch cold-hammer-forged barrel supports reliable performance. Front and rear cocking serrations aid manipulation, and the muzzle is standard and unthreaded.
Sighting is fast and uncomplicated: a green fiber-optic front pairs with a black serrated rear that is dovetailed and drift-adjustable. The rear dovetail is Glock-pattern, expanding compatible rear sight options to suit user preference.
Controls are practical and user-friendly, with ambidextrous slide stop levers and a reversible push-button magazine release. The extractor doubles as a loaded-chamber indicator, and a separate cocked-hammer indicator provides at-a-glance status.
