Built on an all-steel slide and frame, this full-size Defiant series pistol uses a short-recoil, locked-breech system. The frame carries a full-length heavy dustcover that is drilled and tapped along the sides with one forward slot, providing a solid front end and mounting provisions as configured by the factory.
The single-action-only fire control is complemented by an enlarged magazine release, ambidextrous manual thumb safeties, and a skeletonized ring hammer. Checkered frontstrap and backstrap, a flared beavertail, and a large flared magwell support fast, confident handling.
The black slide is marked 'DEFIANT LIMITED MASTER' and features extensive weight-reduction work, including lightening cuts, top ports, side windows, and rear cocking serrations. Target-focused sights include a red fiber-optic front blade and a fully adjustable rear target sight.
