This German-made Weihrauch Windicator is a compact, six-shot .357 Magnum revolver with double-action/single-action operation and a 2.25-inch barrel. It features fixed sights, a blue/black finish, and EAA import markings. Functional details like the integral anti-glare rib, shrouded ejector rod, and ergonomic rubber finger-groove grip set this snub-nose apart for practical carry and straightforward use.
The Windicator uses an exposed hammer and a smooth, curved trigger for controllable DA/SA operation. Its six-round cylinder and compact barrel deliver a classic snub-nose profile while maintaining .357 Magnum capability. It is also compatible with .38 Special.
Sighting is simple and robust with a ramped integral front blade and a rear notch cut into the topstrap. The barrel’s integral rib includes anti-glare serrations with decorative relief cuts near the muzzle, and the ejector rod is shrouded with a short underlug for added protection.
Controls include an S&W-type push-forward cylinder latch for positive cylinder release. The revolver wears a blue/black finish across the frame and cylinder, paired with a black rubber finger-groove grip with diamond-pattern texturing for a secure hold.
Markings include German proof marks, MADE IN GERMANY – DE, and EAA Cocoa, FL import information. EA/R and the HWM circular logo indicate Hermann Weihrauch Mellrichstadt manufacture. The serial number is located on the topstrap ahead of the rear sighting groove.
