The FNX-45 Tactical is a full-size, hammer-fired .45 ACP built for capacity and control. It features a 5.3 in stainless steel barrel that is cold hammer-forged and threaded .578x28 TPI with a thread protector, using a 1:16 RH twist for .45 ACP. The polymer frame in black pairs with a matte black slide for a cohesive, duty-ready look.
Fire control is double-action/single-action with a ring-style hammer. It includes an ambidextrous manual safety/decocker, an ambidextrous slide stop, and an ambidextrous, reversible magazine release. Front and rear cocking serrations and an external extractor provide practical handling and reliability cues.
Sighting equipment includes raised 3-dot suppressor-height sights with a tall front post (single dot) and a tall square-notch rear (two dots). The slide is optics cut with a cover plate, and optic mounts are included. A 6.4 in sight radius supports precise alignment.
Ergonomics come from aggressive grip texturing and interchangeable backstraps (three spares included), with FN medallions molded in.
