This Sig Sauer M400 TREAD V2 is a California-designated model that pairs the factory mid-length gas system and stainless 16-inch barrel with thoughtful upgrades and compliance hardware. It features a free-float aluminum M-LOK TREAD handguard with a continuous, T-marked Picatinny top rail, a SIG Matchlite Duo 2-stage trigger, and ambidextrous safety. Custom additions include a Cross Armory fixed-magazine mag-lock with Juggernaut-type upper release, Cross-marked takedown hardware, a Rogers Super-Stoc buttstock, a three-port muzzle brake, and a folding front sight.

The M400 TREAD V2 platform uses a direct-impingement, mid-length gas system and aluminum receivers with a black anodized finish. The stainless steel, 16-inch barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and currently fitted with a three-port muzzle brake. A forward assist and ejection-port cover are present.
The free-float aluminum M-LOK TREAD handguard has TREAD engraving and a continuous, T-marked Picatinny top rail that bridges to the receiver. A folding front sight is installed for immediate use.
Controls and ergonomics are well-appointed: the SIG Matchlite Duo 2-stage trigger provides a defined break, an ambidextrous safety is fitted, and the charging handle features enlarged latches. A Magpul pistol grip and a Rogers Super-Stoc adjustable, 6-position buttstock are installed.
Compliance hardware is professionally integrated. This rifle includes a Cross Armory fixed-magazine mag-lock and a Juggernaut-type upper-release system with Cross-marked takedown hardware, aligning with California-designated SKU RM400-16B-TRD-V2-CA. Capacity is 10+1 with the included magazines.
