What’s Included
- Smith & Wesson Model 10-5 .38 Spl. revolver (4-inch)
- Aftermarket black synthetic wraparound finger-groove stocks (installed)
The Model 10-5 is built on Smith & Wesson’s K-frame with a six-shot, six-flute cylinder and a 4-inch tapered (pencil) barrel. It is a double-action/single-action revolver with an exposed hammer featuring a checkered spur and a smooth-faced trigger. The blued finish over carbon steel frame and cylinder reflects the model’s traditional construction.
Factory fixed sights include a serrated ramped front sight and a rear notch integral to the top strap for a clean, durable sight picture. The left side of the barrel is rollmarked "SMITH & WESSON," and the yoke cut is marked "MOD. 10-5" for clear model identification.
Period details are evident, including the ejector rod with a smooth band ahead of the knurling, indicative of left-hand threads on K-frames from this era. This example originates from the United States and aligns with the 1960s–1970s production period.
Aftermarket black synthetic wraparound finger-groove stocks are installed, giving the revolver a full, hand-filling grip profile. The bore condition is excellent with sharp rifling, supporting the revolver’s clean internal state.
