The takedown system uses a rotating locking collar and recessed lever, allowing the barrel/forend assembly to separate cleanly from the receiver and stock for transport or storage. The interface is simple and repeatable, supporting the 10/22's reliable blowback, semi-automatic operation in .22 LR.
The 16.40 in alloy steel barrel is cold hammer-forged with a carbine profile for durability and consistency. It is threaded 1/2x28 UNEF and fitted with a slotted thread protector at the muzzle.
Iron sights are fitted from the factory, with a folding rear leaf and a ramped, banded front sight. The receiver is drilled and tapped (4 holes), and a Ruger scope base plate is included.
The speckled brown synthetic stock features molded checkering, an integral barrel band, and sling-swivel studs. Length of pull is 13.25 in, and controls include a cross-bolt safety. Capacity is 10+1 with the included Ruger 10-round rotary magazine. Made in the USA; manufactured in 2017.
