The steel Vertec-profile frame features an extended beavertail, aggressive frontstrap and backstrap serrations/checkering, and an integral 3-slot Picatinny rail on the dust cover. The Nistan matte gray/silver finish covers the frame and slide, complemented by a black barrel and black topstrap.
The Brigadier-profile, open-top slide has extensive front and rear serrations for easy manipulation. A 4.9-inch barrel with a recessed crown supports accuracy and durability. Markings include "FIRES WITHOUT MAGAZINE" on the dust cover.
The DA/SA system is paired with the Xtreme-S trigger, offering adjustable pre-travel and over-travel with a shortened reset. Controls include an ambidextrous frame-mounted manual safety, an enlarged match/tactical-style takedown lever, a skeletonized hammer, and an enlarged, knurled, reversible magazine release.
Sight alignment is fast and precise with a red fiber-optic front sight in a dovetail and a black, serrated, fully adjustable rear sight with indexed elevation and windage markings. The pistol uses a short-recoil locking-block operating system and ships with two 15-round magazines. Proof and import markings include BERETTA USA CORP., ACCK, MD and Italian proofs (IT21), and the case label reflects the Production variant and Nistan finish.
