This P365X is a striker-fired, short-recoil, locked-breech 9mm built around a stainless steel receiver and a black polymer XSeries grip module. The micro-size format keeps overall dimensions compact while still delivering a 12+1 capacity with the flush-fit X grip.
The XSeries flat trigger delivers an approximate 90-degree break for a consistent feel. The slide wears SIG’s Nitron finish and includes front and rear charging serrations for confident manipulation.
Factory XRAY3 day/night tritium sights are installed: a tritium front with a high-visibility green ring and a square-notch tritium rear, providing a clear 3-dot sight picture in varied lighting.
The optics-cut slide uses the Compact (Shield RMSc) footprint for direct mounting within that pattern. A SIG proprietary single-slot accessory rail is molded into the frame. There is no external manual thumb safety.
The modular, serialized fire control unit allows grip module swaps without FFL transfer for the grip module. Markings include a frame marked NEWINGTON, NH USA; a slide marked P365 with a stylized X; and a barrel marked 9mm x 19. Country of origin is USA.
