The CS v3’s barrel assembly features a 3.5 in stainless fluted bull barrel mated to a fully captured, toolless 3.5 in recoil system. The fluting reduces weight while the bull profile maintains lockup and consistency. The barrel hood is clearly stamped 9x19.
Its 4140 steel slide wears a black finish and includes front and rear multi-gill serrations for secure manipulation. An external extractor provides robust case control, and slide markings read STACCATO CS v3 alongside FLORENCE, TX USA.
The frame and receiver are machined from 7075 aluminum alloy for strength with reduced weight, yielding approximately 23 oz unloaded. A textured black polymer grip module with embossed star logos and a flared magazine well supports positive purchase and fast reloads.
Controls are single-action with a flat-faced trigger that includes lightening cuts. Safety features include ambidextrous thumb safeties and a beavertail grip safety with a memory pad, paired with a skeletonized ring hammer.
Sighting is straightforward and fast via a green fiber-optic front and a black rear notch. Despite its compact footprint, the CS v3 carries 15+1 rounds and measures 7.1 in in overall length, 1.45 in in width at the safeties, and 5.4 in in height. An accessory rail with one cross-slot allows mounting of compatible lights.
