It features a 16.10-inch cold hammer-forged alloy steel barrel with a 1:8 RH twist and a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle capped by an A2 flash suppressor. Forged 7075-T6 receivers, a carbine-length gas system, and factory A2/Rapid Deploy sights round out a well-specified configuration.

The 16.10-inch medium-contour, cold hammer-forged alloy steel barrel uses M4 feed ramps and a 1:8 RH twist. The muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with a factory A2 flash suppressor, providing a standard interface and proven flash reduction.
The operating system is semi-automatic, direct impingement with a carbine-length gas system. The rifle employs forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers with a Type III hard-coat anodized black finish. The bolt is 9310 steel and the carrier is 8620 steel with a chrome-lined interior and a properly staked gas key.
Furniture includes a six-position, collapsible M4-style stock and a Ruger-branded textured polymer pistol grip. The handguard is a carbine-length, two-piece, heat-resistant glass-filled nylon unit retained by a delta ring.
Factory sights consist of a fixed A2 front sight base paired with the Ruger Rapid Deploy folding rear aperture sight. This example is a 2017 production model with the Mayodan, North Carolina rollmark and an overall black finish. Capacity is 30+1 with the included magazine.
