The Mossberg Patriot Synthetic combines a lightweight, pillar-bedded synthetic stock with a straight-fluted 22-inch barrel and the user-adjustable LBA trigger system. Chambered in 7mm-08 Remington, it offers flat-shooting performance in a rifle that earned American Rifleman’s Editor’s Choice award at launch. This North Haven–built example shows minimal handling and remains in very good overall condition.

The 22-inch carbon-steel barrel is straight fluted to shed weight and capped with a recessed crown that protects accuracy in the field. A matte-blued finish on both barrel and receiver resists glare and corrosion.
Mossberg’s LBA trigger is user adjustable from roughly 2 to 7 pounds, allowing the shooter to fine-tune pull weight without gunsmithing. An internal blade safety adds a second layer of security.
The black synthetic stock is pillar bedded for consistent receiver support and wears integral sling-swivel studs. A full 14-inch length of pull helps many shooters achieve a natural cheek weld.
A spiral-fluted bolt cycles smoothly through the 4-round detachable magazine, giving the rifle a 4+1 total capacity. The two-position rocker safety sits just behind the bolt handle for intuitive operation.
