This example features an extended beavertail frame, a checkered front strap, and front and rear slide serrations. Both the slide and frame have a stainless finish. The pistol retains the standard P226 DA/SA controls with a decocking lever.
Sight picture is provided by 3-dot tritium night sights. The front sight is marked "AG MH3," and the rear is tritium as well. The barrel measures 4.4 inches, with the hood marked "9mm Para."
The frame is marked "SIGARMS INC. EXETER NH – FRAME MADE IN GERMANY," indicating a German-made frame imported/assembled by SIGARMS in Exeter, New Hampshire. The slide is rollmarked "P226 Elite."
Capacity is 18+1, and this pistol includes three steel double-stack magazines with witness holes to 18, each marked "MADE IN ITALY." Textured composite (G10-style) grip panels are installed for a secure, tactile hold, and the original SIG SAUER two-piece burgundy panels are included. An integral accessory rail is machined into the frame.
