Built in Henry’s Rice Lake, Wisconsin facility, this Big Boy Steel H012 delivers the classic lever-action experience with modern Henry fit and finish. It is marked for .44 Remington Magnum and .44 Special, giving you flexible ammunition options within the platform’s intended calibers.
The rifle uses Henry’s legacy tube-loading system with an under-barrel tubular magazine, a removable inner tube featuring a knurled cap, and a brass-colored follower. Capacity is approximately 10+1 with a standard 20-inch round blued barrel. The action uses a standard-size lever loop, with right-side ejection, an external hammer, and a transfer bar safety.
Sights are traditional and practical: a dovetailed bead front and an adjustable rear sight on a stepped elevator. The steel receiver comes drilled and tapped for Henry’s BB-RSM pattern scope base, and this example has a top-mounted Picatinny/Weaver rail already installed to accept compatible mounts and optics of your choice.
American walnut stocks feature bordered checkering for a solid grip, paired with a black rubber buttpad molded with "HENRY" and a steel forend cap. The listed length of pull is 14.0 inches, with an overall length of approximately 37.5 inches and a listed weight of about 7.0 pounds. The 1:20 rifling twist supports common .44-caliber loads within this rifle’s intended use.
