The C-9 platform uses a blowback action and accepts Glock-pattern magazines, offering 33+1 capacity with the included extended magazine. The right-side charging handle is integrated into a billet side-charging upper that omits the traditional rear charging-handle channel.
A binary trigger is installed, providing a three-position selector with Binary mode that fires on both pull and release. A manual safety is present.
The UTG PRO MTU006SSK Super Slim KeyMod free-float handguard measures 13 inches, is made from 6061-T6 aluminum, and includes a numbered top rail segment marked T16–T36. A short accessory rail section is installed at the 9 o'clock position.
Controls and furniture include an upper-mounted last-round bolt hold open linkage, an AR-pattern pistol grip, and a pistol receiver extension (buffer tube) with a castle nut. The compact cylindrical muzzle device is installed at the muzzle.
The receiver set is hard-coat anodized billet aluminum, with the lower constructed from 7075-T6. Country of origin is the United States. Note: The stated barrel length is 8 inches; because the handguard is 13 inches, the actual barrel length is not verified.
