Product Description

Savage Arms Model 110L Left-Hand .30-06 Bolt-Action Rifle, 20 in Barrel, Early Chicopee Falls (1959–1960)

This early-production, left-hand Savage Model 110L in .30-06 dates to 1959–1960 and carries the Chicopee Falls address. It pairs a 20 in tapered barrel with the signature Savage locknut, a 4+1 internal magazine, and period-correct open sights. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases, and early features like the two-lug floating bolt head and non-plunger ejector mark it as a desirable pre-1966 pattern.

    What’s Included

    • Savage Arms Model 110L left-hand bolt-action rifle (.30-06)

The Model 110L is a true left-hand bolt-action from Savage’s early production, made in the United States and marked with the Chicopee Falls address. This example uses the two-lug floating bolt head and non-plunger ejector found on pre-1966 rifles, combined with a tang safety for intuitive operation.

The 20 in tapered barrel features Savage’s locknut system and is proofed with the Savage proof/date oval on the barrel forward of the receiver. Chambered in .30-06, it feeds from an internal 4-round box magazine for a total capacity of 4+1. The alloy floorplate is screw-secured and non-hinged.

Factory open sights include a ramped bead front and a folding leaf rear with a step elevator, offering versatile, period-appropriate sighting options. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases with two holes on the front ring and two on the rear bridge.

The walnut stock shows classic details: cut checkering, a black grip cap, and inletted sling loops. A corrugated aluminum buttplate with the Savage Indian-head logo completes the rifle, with a length of pull measuring 13.1 in.
