The frame is a composite polymer with an internal aluminum sub-frame and rails, keeping weight around 18 oz (per factory spec) while preserving durability. Controls include an ambidextrous manual thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety for positive handling.
The 4.25 inch steel barrel features a target crown, working with the fixed combat sights to provide a clear, consistent sight picture. Sights include a dovetailed front blade with a white dot and a fixed dovetailed square-notch rear.
The slide wears a matte black finish with rear cocking serrations. It uses a standard 1911 barrel bushing and a GI-style recoil spring plug. The dustcover is smooth with no accessory rail, and the pistol retains familiar 1911 lines and field-strip routine.
