Stevens Model 5000 12 Gauge Side-by-Side, 26 inch Blued Barrels, Case-Colored Receiver, Extractor, Aftermarket Single Non-Selective Trigger, Fixed Cylinder Chokes
This Stevens Model 5000 is a U.S.-made side-by-side 12 gauge with early "5000" markings from the 5000/5100/311 lineage. It features 26 inch blued steel barrels on a case-colored receiver, an extractor-only setup, and walnut checkered furniture. This example appears to have been modified with a single non-selective trigger via an aftermarket conversion, and both barrels measure fixed Cylinder.

What’s Included
- Stevens Model 5000 12 gauge side-by-side shotgun
The 26 inch side-by-side barrels are steel with a solid matted top rib and a single front bead. The gun is configured with extractors (non-ejector) and a two-round capacity. Proof and maker markings include PROOF TESTED 12 GAUGE, SELECTED FORGED STEEL, STEVENS, J. STEVENS ARMS COMPANY, and 5000.
This example appears modified for a single non-selective trigger. The hammer mechanism uses internal hammers, and a top-tang manual safety provides straightforward control. The trigger is non-selective and operates both barrels in sequence.
Both barrels measure fixed Cylinder (C) chokes. Sighting is via a simple single front bead on the solid matted rib for a clean sight picture.
The receiver retains a case-colored finish, paired with blued barrels. Furniture is walnut throughout, with a checkered pistol grip stock, semi-beavertail forend, and a steel serrated buttplate. Length of pull is 12.5 inches. A D-prefix serial is observed.
