The Model 64 is a blowback-operated semi-automatic .22 LR rimfire manufactured in Lakefield, Ontario by Savage Arms (Canada) Inc. This example uses a detachable box magazine pattern, but no magazine is included. As configured, capacity is 1 round for single-loading.
The rifle is set up with open sights: a ramped front blade and a rear open leaf with a stepped elevator. The rear sight base is dovetailed into the barrel. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases, and the filler screws are present.
The 16.5 inch barrel shows a silver, in-the-white appearance with a knurled collar at the barrel shank. Ejection is from the right-side port, and the charging handle is reciprocating.
