The Gen5 MOS slide features front and rear serrations and a factory-installed MOS cover plate, offering a clean mounting interface when no optic is installed. The matte black finish on the slide and frame presents a uniform, duty-ready look.
The 4.49 in cold hammer forged Glock Marksman Barrel is non-threaded with a standard crown and is paired with Glock's locked-breech, tilting-barrel operating system. This setup is built for consistent performance with 9mm Luger.
Controls include ambidextrous slide stop levers and a left-side magazine release. The pistol retains Glock's Safe Action system and uses fixed polymer sights with a white-dot front and white-outline rear for a straightforward sight picture.
The full-size polymer frame uses Glock's stippled RTF texture and includes the Glock universal accessory rail for lights or other compatible rail-mounted equipment. Serial numbers are present on the frame, slide, and barrel.
As part of the Gen5 family, the G47 offers modular compatibility noted for G19/G45 slide/barrel interchange within the Gen5 ecosystem, adding flexibility for configuration changes when desired.
