This example features the Vertec straight backstrap frame with checkering, a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail, and Beretta’s universal slide architecture that can be configured FS or G. Italian proof marks and factory rollmarks are present, and it includes both a 17-round and a 15-round steel magazine along with the factory case.

The M9A3’s steel barrel measures 5.12 inches and is extended and threaded 1/2x28 with a thread protector, providing muzzle-device compatibility out of the box. The slide uses the open-top 92 design with an external extractor and dovetailed sights, finished to match the coyote/FDE color scheme.
Sight regulation is straightforward thanks to raised dovetailed tritium night sights, with a windage-adjustable rear and a tritium front. The slide-mounted, ambidextrous safety/decocker works with an automatic firing pin block, and the DA/SA system delivers a traditional 92 Series trigger feel.
The Vertec grip frame’s straight backstrap and front/backstrap checkering give a flatter, more controllable purchase. An oversized, checkered magazine release speeds reloads, aided by the beveled magazine well and an extended beavertail. A three-slot MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail supports common lights and aiming accessories.
Beretta’s universal slide architecture allows conversion between FS and G configurations to suit user preference. This pistol carries Italian proof marks with a MADE IN ITALY rollmark, a BERETTA USA CORP. ACKK. MD import mark, a barrel marked "PB - 9x19", and the Italian date/proof code "IT21". Capacity is 17+1 with the included 17-round magazine, and a 15-round magazine is also provided.
