The VP9SK is the compact member of HK's VP series, chambered in 9mm Luger and built around a striker-fired, short-recoil, locked-breech system. This example is the standard paddle-release configuration (not the VP9SK-B) with fully ambidextrous slide stop levers, providing mirrored controls out of the box.
Its 3.39 in steel barrel is cold hammer-forged with polygonal rifling, a hallmark of HK manufacturing. The slide wears the Hostile Environment finish and features front and rear cocking serrations, rear charging supports, and a striker status indicator for quick visual/tactile checks.
The polymer frame integrates a textured grip with interchangeable backstraps and side panels to fine-tune fit. An abbreviated MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail on the dustcover supports compact lights or similar rail-mounted accessories as needed.
Factory sights are fixed 3-dot irons with a single yellow front dot and two white rear dots, delivering a clear sight picture. Sight radius measures 5.73 in. Capacity is 10+1 with the included magazines.
Made in Germany, this pistol bears CIP N nitro proof marks, the BH date code indicating a 2017 proof year, the DE country code, and an HK–Columbus, GA import mark. The slide, barrel, and frame carry matching serial numbers. This is not an optics-ready variant.
