What’s Included
- Winchester Model 50 Field 20 Gauge semi-automatic shotgun
This Model 50 uses Winchester's recoil-operated system with a fixed barrel and a short-stroke floating chamber paired to a rotating locking bolt. The design delivers reliable cycling with 2-3/4 inch shells and right-side ejection, supported by a tubular under-barrel magazine with a 3-round capacity.
The 28 inch plain barrel is made from Winchester Proof Steel and is marked accordingly, along with the Winchester "WP" oval proof. It wears a single bead front sight and a fixed Modified choke, giving it a versatile field-oriented pattern in a straightforward configuration.
Controls are simple and purposeful: a right-side, round, knurled charging handle and a carrier/bolt release located at the right front of the receiver. The shotgun has a 14 inch length of pull for a comfortable, traditional fit.
Stocked in walnut, the Field model features a checkered pistol-grip buttstock, matching walnut forend, and a Winchester-marked checkered buttplate. Finished in blued steel and built in the United States, this 1957-dated example aligns with the classic characteristics that define the Model 50 line.
