The long-action Model 700 platform in .300 Win. Mag. offers a 3+1 capacity with an internal box magazine and floorplate. The 24-inch sporter-profile barrel is steel, non-fluted, and finished in matte, with an unthreaded muzzle and a recessed crown. The rifle is configured without iron sights.
The receiver is steel with a matte finish, drilled and tapped, and currently fitted with two-piece scope bases. Safety is a manual type. Proofs and markings include the Remington REP oval proof and an inspector’s triangle. The barrel date code "AC" corresponds to March 2008 production, and the rifle was made in the USA.
The synthetic stock wears a Mossy Oak camouflage finish and includes a SuperCell recoil pad, a pistol-grip cap, black textured grip and fore-end panels, and sling swivel studs front and rear. Length of pull measures 13.0 inches.
This SPS Camo variant presents a matte, non-reflective metal finish throughout and no iron sights from the factory. The configuration supports mounted optics via the installed two-piece bases, and a spring-leg bipod is attached to the front sling stud.
