The SP9A3 uses Grand Power's roller-delayed A3 system, delivering smooth cycling in a compact, micro-size format. The forward, left-side charging handle is non-reciprocating for safer, more controlled manipulation, and a left-side bolt catch/hold-open aids quick administrative handling.
The 8 inch 9mm barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with a thread protector. Capacity is 30+1 with the included Stribog-pattern translucent magazines.
Construction is centered on an aluminum receiver with a hard-coat anodized finish and an aluminum M-LOK handguard. The handguard provides M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, plus a short rail segment at 6 o'clock, while a full-length 1913 top rail runs the receiver for mounting sights. Flip-up front and rear iron sights are installed.
Ergonomics and controls include an ambidextrous safety, paddle-style magazine release, and a textured polymer pistol grip. The system is marked STRIBOG SP9A3 and Made in Slovakia.
Import and proof details are clear for collectors: CIP proof marks, a 21 year stamp, and GLOBAL ORDNANCE LLC, SARASOTA, FL import mark. Matching serial numbers appear on the receiver plate, bolt, and barrel.
