The Legacy Sport configuration centers on Benelli’s inertia-driven semi-automatic action in 12 gauge with a 3" chamber. It is marked for 2 3/4" or 3" shells and uses a tubular magazine with a knurled magazine cap. Controls include a cross-bolt safety and a gold-colored trigger, and the length of pull measures 14.25.
The 28" CrioBarrel is factory ported and topped with a ventilated rib that carries a red fiber-optic front bead for quick sight acquisition. A Briley extended SK choke is installed, and the shotgun is accompanied by five Benelli Crio extended tubes to cover Full, Improved Modified, Modified, Cylinder, and Improved Cylinder.
The alloy receiver wears a bright coin finish with extensive scroll engraving and oval game-bird panels, all factory-applied. The right-hand walnut stock features a pistol-grip profile, cut checkering, and a black recoil pad for a secure, comfortable mount.
Markings include "Benelli USA Corp., Accokeek, MD. Made in Italy" on the receiver; "BENELLI ARMI SYSTEM" on the bolt; and "CRIOBARREL" with 12 GA 3" on the barrel. Gardone proof marks and the Italian date code "CC" (2008) are present. This example is noted as mfg. 2013.
