The rifle uses Ruger’s Type III hard-coat anodized 7075-T6 aluminum chassis with an in-line recoil path and a folding, fully adjustable stock. An integral 20-MOA Picatinny receiver rail and free-float 15 inch M-LOK handguard add practical mounting flexibility. It ships with two 10-round Magpul PMAG LR/SR Gen M3 magazines and retains matching serial numbers on the receiver and bolt.

The 20 inch chrome-moly steel barrel is heavy profile, cold hammer-forged, and uses 5R rifling with a 1:10 RH twist for .308 Win. The muzzle is threaded 5/8-24, giving the shooter standard interface options. The barrel is free-floated inside a 15 inch aluminum M-LOK handguard.
The chassis is 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard-coat anodized finish and an in-line recoil path. The folding stock offers an adjustable cheekpiece, adjustable length of pull, buttpad height adjustment, a bottom Picatinny rail/bag rider, and QD sling sockets. Length of pull is set at 13.25 inches.
Controls include an AR-style ambidextrous safety selector and an oversized bolt knob on the right-hand bolt. The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger is user-adjustable, and the adjustment wrench is stored in the bolt shroud. An integral 20-MOA Picatinny receiver rail supports scope mounting.
Ruger’s patented multi-magazine interface accepts AICS and SR-25/DPMS/Magpul-pattern magazines. This rifle is roll-marked "RUGER PRECISION" with "NEWPORT • NH • USA," is a USA-made short-action configuration, and includes two 10-round magazines for a 10+1 capacity when loaded.
