The heart of this rifle is a Ruger American Rifle Predator barreled action chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. The receiver is marked "RUGER AMERICAN" and the barrel is marked "6.5 CREEDMOOR." The 22 in heavy-taper alloy-steel barrel wears a matte finish and is threaded 5/8x24, with a multi-port muzzle brake already installed. Its 1:8 RH twist and 5-groove rifling support a wide range of 6.5 Creedmoor loads.
The action uses a right-hand, three-lug bolt with a 70° throw for smooth cycling and scope clearance. A user-adjustable trigger lets you fine-tune pull to preference. The alloy-steel receiver comes topped with a one-piece Picatinny scope base, ready for your optic of choice.
Upgraded into an ORYX by MDT chassis, this rifle gains a rigid aluminum foundation with OD green polymer panels over a black chassis. The adjustable cheek riser uses twin thumbwheel locks, and the butt section offers adjustable length of pull with an MDT recoil pad. The vertical pistol grip and M-LOK aluminum fore-end provide control and accessory mounting flexibility. An M-LOK Picatinny rail section supports the included Magpul bipod.
The ORYX chassis accepts AICS-pattern magazines, and this rifle includes a 5-round polymer box magazine marked 7.62x51. Capacity is 5+1. Manufactured in 2018 in the USA, this configuration combines a proven Ruger Predator barreled action with a precision-focused chassis and useful installed accessories.
