The Mark XIX platform here is the DE50, chambered in .50 AE with a 7+1 capacity. It operates via a gas system with a rotating multi-lug bolt and a single-action trigger, combining the model’s hallmark strength with a clean, direct control layout.
Construction is all carbon steel with a consistent Black Oxide finish across the frame, slide, and barrel. The slide carries rear serrations, a slide-mounted manual safety, and an exposed spur hammer. The frame includes a beavertail for confident control.
The standard 6-inch barrel uses polygonal rifling with a 1:19 RH twist and is clearly marked "50AE." A full-length multi-slot rail is machined along the barrel top, while the dust cover is smooth with no accessory rail.
Fixed sights consist of a front blade and rear notch, set to an 8.5-inch sight radius. Factory markings include "DESERT EAGLE PISTOL MADE IN USA" on the left-side barrel and "MAGNUM RESEARCH INC., PILLAGER, MN USA" on the right-side frame/slide, confirming U.S. production in Minnesota.
