This M&P FPC is a blowback-operated semi-automatic 9mm Luger carbine that folds to an overall length of approximately 16.375 in for transport and storage, with an unfolded overall length of about 30.375 in. The side charging handle also secures the rifle in the folded position for a tidy, self-contained package.
The 16.25 in barrel is made from 4140 CM steel with a black-oxide finish, cut with a 1:10 twist, and threaded 1/2x28. Controls are straightforward, including a cross-bolt safety and a flat-faced trigger for a consistent pull.
The polymer stock folds to the side and incorporates dual magazine carriers plus a QD sling mount socket. The grip is M&P-pattern with M2.0 texture, and the rifle includes interchangeable backstraps to fine-tune fit; length of pull is 14.5 in.
An aluminum receiver with a hard-coat anodized black finish anchors a free-float M-LOK handguard and a continuous top Picatinny rail across the receiver and handguard. Capacity is 23+1 as configured, and the platform accepts both M&P full-size and compact double-stack 9mm magazines. Made in the United States; factory SKU is 12575 and MSRP is $699.
