The Legion SAO configuration delivers a single-action-only operating system with a flat-faced trigger and ambidextrous, frame-mounted thumb safeties. This model omits the decocking lever, giving the P226 a clean SAO control layout tailored for a consistent single-action press.
Built on a full-size aluminum-alloy frame with a stainless-steel slide, it wears the Legion gray finish with Legion chevron logos and markings. Ergonomic enhancements include an extended beavertail, an undercut trigger guard, and frontstrap/backstrap checkering for a secure grasp.
SIG X-RAY3 day/night sights top the slide, pairing a luminous green front sight with a square-notch rear. The slide is optic-ready with a PRO/RX footprint and comes with a flush cover plate installed. Front and rear cocking serrations provide confident manipulation.
A 4.4 in barrel, approximately 8.0 in overall length, and about 34 oz weight place this pistol firmly in the full-size class. A 3-slot accessory rail supports compatible lights or lasers, and the pistol is configured for a 20+1 capacity in 9mm Luger.
