This Performance Center M&P R8 variant uses a scandium-alloy N-frame finished in matte black for strength with reduced weight. The 8-shot stainless-steel cylinder is finished in black and machined for moon clips to support fast, positive extraction. The action is DA/SA and receives Performance Center tuning, paired with a smooth combat-style trigger and a PC trigger with stop for controlled press.
The 5-inch, two-piece stainless barrel sits inside a heavy, slab-sided shroud featuring a longitudinal lightening slot. This design provides a robust profile while keeping forward weight in check. The checkered cylinder latch and forged, bright-finished hammer and trigger round out the handling features.
Sight configuration includes a pinned, interchangeable front sight and an adjustable V-notch rear, allowing easy setup to preference.
