The Model 25 is a bolt-action rimfire rifle with a two-position safety lever marked FIRE/SAFE and a detachable steel box magazine for a 7+1 capacity. It is chambered for .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle, providing flexibility across common rimfire loads.
The 22 inch barrel uses Marlin's Micro-Groove rifling. Sights include a ramped front blade and an adjustable open rear with a stepped elevator, set up for straightforward sight picture and elevation adjustment.
The receiver top appears smooth with no 3/8 inch dovetail grooves. The rifle carries a North Haven, CT barrel rollmark and the JM proof stamp on the barrel.
The hardwood stock has a gloss finish with a Monte Carlo comb and a pistol-grip profile. It is uncheckered and fitted with a black checkered hard-plastic buttplate. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
