The Citori Superlight Grade VI combines elegant engraving with practical field features. The receiver wears a coin finish with factory scroll engraving and gold-inlaid flying game birds, and the top lever and trigger guard are engraved to match. The high-gloss checkered walnut stock features a semi-pistol grip, a slim field forend with a rounded tip, and a black Browning buttplate. A gold-colored single selective trigger is paired with a top-tang safety that also serves as the barrel selector.
The 26-inch steel barrels use a vent rib with a matted top and a single front bead. Chambers are cut for both 2.5 and 3 inch .410 shells. This .410 Citori uses the Browning Standard Invector choke system (not Invector-Plus). It is compatible with Skeet, Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full .410 Standard Invector choke constrictions; this example includes Skeet, Improved Cylinder, and Modified flush tubes.
Built by Miroku in Japan in 2000 (per Browning serial code MM), this Superlight variant emphasizes reduced weight and quick handling. Capacity is 2 rounds via the break-action over/under configuration. Length of pull is 14.25 inches, delivering a classic fit for a trim .410 field gun.
Proof and marking lines include: "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q., MADE IN JAPAN, MIROKU, SPECIAL STEEL .410 BORE - 2 1/2 and 3". These factory markings, along with the Grade VI engraving package, underscore the model’s premium positioning within the Citori line.
