The GSG 1911 Standard brings classic 1911 ergonomics to affordable .22 LR shooting. Built in Germany and imported by ATI, this full-size rimfire pistol features a hammer-forged, 5-inch steel barrel that is factory threaded for muzzle devices. Its black anodized alloy frame and slide keep weight down while retaining the familiar 1911 grip angle, controls, and trigger feel. Walnut double-diamond grips, fiber-optic sights, and four included 10-round magazines make it a ready-to-run trainer or plinker right out of the box.

Designed as a dedicated rimfire trainer, the GSG 1911 mirrors the dimensions and controls of a standard Government-size 1911. Shooters can practice with inexpensive .22 LR while maintaining the same grip safety, ambidextrous thumb safety, and checkered mag release found on center-fire models.
The 5-inch barrel is hammer-forged steel and threaded M9×0.75 mm under the barrel bushing, allowing easy attachment of suppressors or compensators with the correct adapter. Vertical rear slide serrations provide a solid grasp for charging, and the black anodized finish resists wear.
Sights are dovetailed: a high-visibility yellow fiber-optic front blade pairs with a low-profile, drift-adjustable rear notch for quick target acquisition. The skeletonized aluminum trigger and ring hammer contribute to a crisp, single-action-only break.
Four factory 10-round magazines, tools, and the original hard case add value for the buyer, while CIP “N” proof marks confirm German proof-house testing. With compatibility for many standard 1911 parts, this pistol also offers an easy path for further customization.
