What's Included
- Norinco SKS Type 56 semi-automatic rifle (7.62x39, 20.5 in barrel)
- Full-length cleaning rod
Made in China and imported by PTK. INT'L ATL. GA., this SKS carries the boxed [0140] arsenal code and the Type 56 inscription in Chinese characters (五六式). Receiver markings include NORINCO and the SKS 7.62x39 CHINA designation, providing clear production and import provenance.
The rifle operates on a semi-automatic, short-stroke gas piston system with a tilting-bolt locking design. It feeds from a fixed internal 10-round magazine and is designed for stripper-clip loading. The charging handle is on the right side, and the length of pull measures 12.5.
Construction is robust with a blued carbon steel receiver and components, while the bolt and bolt carrier are left in-the-white. The hardwood stock has a glossy orange-brown finish with a forearm grasping groove and a left-side sling loop, complemented by a wood upper handguard. A bayonet lug is present.
Sighting equipment includes a hooded post front and a tangent rear sight leaf graduated to 1000 m, paired with the 20.5 in barrel for practical zeroing and elevation adjustment. The full-length cleaning rod is installed beneath the barrel.
Key matching details include the last six digits "002056" on the bolt carrier, trigger guard/magazine assembly, and stock, which adds desirable internal consistency to this example.
