The Legion SAO configuration delivers a single-action-only trigger system with no decocker, paired with ambidextrous manual thumb safeties and a firing-pin safety. A flat-faced trigger and a skeletonized spurred hammer contribute to a clean break and consistent feel. The frame adds control with an extended beavertail plus frontstrap and under-guard checkering.
Built with a stainless-steel slide over an alloy frame, this full-size P226 wears the Legion gray finish and black checkered G10 panels with Legion medallions. The slide presents front and rear serrations and lightening windows. Markings include "SIG SAUER INC., NEWINGTON–NH–USA" on the frame, "9mm x 19" on the chamber, and the LEGION wordmark and chevron on the slide.
Misc upgrades include an installed aftermarket lightened/vented slide and an add-on flared magazine well funnel that speeds reloads. Sights are a green fiber-optic front and a square-notch rear with two luminous dots for a bright, defined sight picture.
