The Shadow 2 Carry is CZ's lighter, shortened carry extension of the Shadow 2 line, announced on April 24, 2025. Built on a 7075-T6 aluminum alloy frame with a 4.0 in cold hammer forged barrel, it brings the Shadow series' precision into a compact, carry-sized package. It features an optic-cut slide with a direct-mount RMSc/Holosun K footprint and luminescent iron sights. Made in the Czech Republic, it offers a 15+1 capacity in a metal-frame format sized for daily carry.

Purpose-built as a compact member of the Shadow 2 series, the Carry model retains the platform's metal-frame feel while reducing size and weight for concealment. Its 7075-T6 aluminum alloy frame includes an integral three-slot accessory rail and checkered metal grip panels marked CZ SHADOW 2 with a stylized 2.
The 4.0 in cold hammer forged barrel pairs with a DA/SA action and a curved trigger shoe. Safety features include a decocker, firing pin block, and a hammer safety notch, with a skeletonized ring hammer to speed lock time.
The slide is cut with front and rear serrations for positive manipulation and includes an optic cut with a cover plate. The direct-mount RMSc/Holosun K footprint allows co-witness with the luminescent iron sights, which consist of a front post with a green dot and a low-profile rear notch.
Dimensions are streamlined for carry at 7.5 in overall length, 5.4 in height, and 1.5 in width. Empty weight with magazine is approximately 30.4–30.7 oz, and capacity is 15+1 using flush-fit magazines. Proof and import details include a CZ-USA, HARTFORD, CT import mark and a Czech proof/date marking of 25, with matching serial numbers on the slide, frame, and barrel hood. Made in the Czech Republic.
