- 1x 7-round steel single-stack 9mm magazine with finger-rest baseplate; body marked "9 mm" and "Made in USA"
Chambered in 9mm Luger, the LC9s uses a striker-fired action with a bladed safety trigger. This standard LC9s model includes a manual thumb safety and a left-side magazine release. Capacity is 7+1 with the included single-stack magazine.
The slide is through-hardened alloy steel with a blued/black-oxide finish and rear serrations for purchase. The frame is glass-filled nylon in black, balancing strength with light weight. The alloy-steel barrel measures 3.12 inches and uses a 1:10 RH twist.
Sight configuration is a dovetailed 3-dot set, with a white-dot dovetailed front and a windage-adjustable dovetailed rear. The dovetailed, non-integral design differentiates this configuration from later models that used integral sights.
Safety features include a manual thumb safety, trigger safety, loaded-chamber inspection port, and a magazine disconnect. This example was manufactured in 2014 in Prescott, Arizona, USA, aligning with the first year of LC9s production.
