This Government-size 1911 is configured for competition with a 5-inch National Match, bushing-fit barrel and a GI-style short guide rod with plug. Colt's Dual Recoil Spring System is engineered to manage slide movement and support reliable cycling with 9mm loads. The barrel hood is marked "COLT 9MM LUGER N.M." and is visible through the ejection port.
The two-tone finish pairs a matte stainless slide with brushed flats over a blued steel frame. The slide uses rear serrations only and a lowered ejection port, staying true to a clean competition profile. The frame is a non-railed, Government-size steel build.
Sights are competition-focused: a fully adjustable target-style rear (Novak-pattern) matched to an orange fiber-optic front sight for a crisp, high-visibility sight picture. Control parts include a skeletonized commander-style hammer and a long, skeletonized 3-hole trigger with an over-travel screw.
