- Installed scope mount
The Model 1895CB Cowboy pairs classic Marlin lever-action lines with a long 26" tapered octagon barrel and a full-length tubular magazine for 9+1 capacity. It is chambered in .45-70 Government, delivering the traditional big-bore performance associated with this platform.
Built in 2001 and marked with the North Haven, CT JM barrel rollmark, this example reflects the features associated with that era. The receiver is the solid-top, side-eject design with a right-side loading gate, and the serial number is located on the left side of the receiver.
The barrel uses Ballard-type, 6-groove rifling with a 1:20 right-hand twist. Sights are the classic combination of a dovetailed front sight and a semi-buckhorn rear sight with a stepped elevator.
Furniture consists of straight-grip, uncheckered walnut with a hard Marlin-logo buttplate. The rifle has an exposed hammer and a cross-bolt safety. Metal surfaces carry a blued finish, and the receiver is factory drilled and tapped; a scope mount is installed.
