What’s Included
- Remington Model 7400 Synthetic semi-automatic rifle in .280 Remington
- Weaver-style scope rail (installed)
Produced in the United States, the Model 7400 represents the third generation of Remington’s autoloading sporting rifles. Its gas-operated action with a rotary-locking bolt delivers smooth cycling and dependable feeding in the field.
The .280 Rem chambering was discontinued in this line after 2000, giving this rifle added appeal to shooters who appreciate a versatile, flat-shooting cartridge and to collectors seeking calibers no longer offered.
A black synthetic Monte Carlo stock with molded checkering and integral sling-swivel studs keeps weight down and resists weather. A factory recoil pad helps manage felt recoil while the 13-inch length of pull suits a wide range of shooters.
The 22-inch unthreaded barrel is finished in a matte phosphate/oxide coating that matches the receiver for a non-reflective profile in the field. With iron sights removed and the Weaver-style rail in place, the rifle is already set up for rapid optic mounting.
