The heavy 22.5-inch non-fluted barrel is threaded and fitted with a three-port side-vented muzzle brake that is secured against a jam-nut. The rifle has no iron sights, and a one-piece Picatinny scope rail is installed on the receiver.
The composite tactical stock has a molded tan finish with black web/splatter and includes a fixed comb, a butt-hook, and a Decelerator recoil pad. Two sling-swivel studs are on the fore-end, with an additional rear sling provision. Length of pull is 13.75 inches.
The right-hand bolt features a round, textured knob. The rifle uses a detachable box magazine system with a metal magazine and has a 10+1 capacity in .308 Win.
The steel receiver wears a matte dark finish and is marked "Remington MODEL 700." The barrel is roll-marked "REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY INC., ILION, NY .308 WIN" with barrel code "EC." This rifle was made in the United States.
