This FN 509 Tactical stands out with a 4.5 in cold hammer forged stainless steel barrel that is threaded 1/2x28 and capped with a knurled protector, suppressor-height 3-dot sights, and a factory optics-milled slide using FN's Low-Profile Optics-Mounting System. It is a full-size, striker-fired 9mm with fully ambidextrous controls and a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail. It comes with three 24-round magazines and one 15-round magazine, plus an FN-logo soft case.

The 4.5 in barrel is cold hammer forged stainless steel, threaded 1/2x28, and uses a 1:10 RH twist. It includes an extended profile and a knurled thread protector for secure muzzle thread coverage.
The slide features front and rear cocking serrations, an external extractor, and the factory optics-milled FN Low-Profile Optics-Mounting System. Please note the optic cover plate and rubber O-ring are not included.
Suppressor-height 3-dot iron sights provide a tall single-dot front and a tall square-notch rear. These sights pair cleanly with the pistol's tactical barrel and slide setup.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the slide stop and magazine release. The pistol is striker-fired with a trigger blade safety and a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail on the polymer frame. Marked FN COLUMBIA, SC USA and made in the USA.
