This full-size Buck Mark uses a straight blowback, single-action mechanism and feeds from a detachable single-stack magazine for a 10+1 capacity in .22 LR. Controls include a standard magazine release and a thumb safety.
The pistol is built around a 5.5 inch round, non-threaded steel bull barrel for stability. Its receiver and frame are aluminum alloy with a matte black finish, and the slide assembly features rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation.
Sighting is handled by adjustable iron sights, with a ramped front and an adjustable rear. The trigger is single-action and gold-colored, and the smooth walnut grip panels carry inlaid Browning Buck Mark medallions.
According to Browning’s post-1998 serial scheme, this example was produced in 1999. It is marked Made in U.S.A. with Browning Morgan, Utah and Montreal roll marks. The receiver/top strap is smooth and lacks an optics rail.
